Adidas has developed a game changing material by compacting individual foam pellets into sheets, creating more energy return to the user than any other shoe material. This line of footwear is called Boost. To spread the word of this material, a traveling activation was designed and built to highlight this energy return. The experience consisted of three massive LED lit arches, a Momentum Wall made up of 180 motors and 90 pellets that mimicked the movement of the user, and an Energy Platform that mapped the users motion and displayed their form as a body of pellets moving through different challenges. The activation traveled to over 20 different cities.
